Exhibition of Julia Surba and concert of Nadishana Trio at Krutushka festival 2011, small festival r

We were glad to take part at the  international festival of ethnic music Krutushka 2011, which takes place in Tatarstan close to Kazan-city.
The festival is good known for the good ethnic music:
as for traditional root music

as for  music based on russian folklore and world-fusion.

The cosy location between river and forest close to the beautiful blue lakes helps to create a very warm and cosy atmosphere there.

Another thing which makes the festival unique espacially for Russian area is that alkohol is forbidden on the festival. So no random people are there, only one who is really interested in ethnic music, art  based on ethnic elements and in traditional handcrafts.
