Video: Excerpts from Nadishana’s concert on the festival
We just came back from the 1st International Maultrommel Festival (Jew’s Harp Festival) which took part 23rd-25th Nov in Leipzig, Germany. That was exiting experience, we met a lot of enthusiastic people who loves this little instrument! They came
from all over the world: Canada, Japan, Norway, Switzerland, Israel and of course Germany. The festival was organized by the two very well known jaw harp lovers Clemens Voigt & Sven Otto. They have probably the biggest online jew’s harp store Danmoi.de . On the market of the festival they’ve presented huge collection of jew’s harps from all over the world.
Our appearance on the festival was the concert and workshop of Nadishana and the stand on the market with the production of Sound Microsurgery Department and various stuff from “Kuzhebar Design” Studio (Julia Surba). We presented russian overtone flutes kalyuka and Altaian Khomuses in custom designed ceder cases with pyrography artwork. It was a big pleasure to be in such a friendly and kind atmosphere of the festival. Our special thanks to fantastic festival team, the organization was on very high level and the programm was really interesting and reach!
